Diet
versus Exercise
I'll be honest in my 50s, I've gained more
weight than I would like to admit. The Mayo Clinic says that diet is the best
way to lose weight, and once the weight is off, the best way to keep it off is
exercise. I have read that if you can practice yoga for a long enough period of
time, you'll become thinner and thinner if you stick with it. It's just a very
slow weight loss. Yoga and Tai chi are also good for you in other ways, such as
lowering blood pressure and relieving stress, and strengthening your immune
